DEMOfall 08 Conference Preparation Workshop & Coaching

With the DEMOfall 08 Conference rapidly approaching, it’s time to start preparing. In order to help as many companies as possible get ready, The Demo Coach is offering a one day intensive preparation workshop for any company invited to give their demo on stage. Seating is limited to 15 people per workshop to make sure everyone gets the attention they deserve. The number of companies we coach for the conference is very limited and we never coach more than one company with similar technology at the same conference.

DEMOfall 08 is rapidly approaching

DEMOfall 08 is right around the corner. It is the premier venue to announce your new product or service with an 18 year history of successes. If you are thinking about using the DEMOfall Conference as the platform to make your statement to the world, you ought to consider using a coach and someone who has been there before you.

The demo you give in six minutes should not be your usual product demo. It should be tightly scripted, rehearsed, and committed to memory so that you can predict every move on stage. You will also need at least one back up plan in case something goes the wrong way during your demo. The Demo Coach coaches will prepare you for this event just as if you were giving a six minute play one time.

DEMO 2008 is now behind all of us

The DEMO 2008 conference is now over and the year is off to a great start.  There were some really great companies this year, which will likely become household names one day.  Check out each of the demo presentations and see what you think.

January 28, 2008 is about 6 weeks from now.  Many people are already selected for participation on stage at DEMO 2008in Palm Desert while others are waiting for the call from Chris.  Good luck to you if you have not been selected yet.  Rumor has it they will choose the final lot by this Friday.

In the past two weeks, several people have called asking if I have the time to coach with the DEMO conference coming next month.  The answer is yes.  At this moment in time, I have time to help.

The way I work is I see a demo of the product.  It does not matter if the product is not ready for a demo, but I need to see what the product is intending to be.  I can even handle a hand waving demo.

Once I see the product, I will give you a proposal of what I can do for you.  I handle everything from writing the script to being with you in the Green room behind stage and everything in between.  My fees are based on how much time you require of me to support you in your quest to achieve your best work on stage.

There is a little more than one month to the start of DEMOfall 2007 in San Diego.  If you don’t have a script by now, you are late.  I usually have my clients practicing their script by this time.

Three DEMO conferences about to take place

With the DEMO conference continuing to expand to new markets, coaching you on presenting in those markets is not the same as coaching here in the US.  There are many subtle differences to what you might do and how you do it given that you might be presenting in China or Germany.

OK.  I give.  You win.  I understand and appreciate that most of you reading this don’t have tons of extra money to hire a demo coach.  I really do understand.  But, you still need one, no matter how good you think you are.
